Introduction

Paper Making in Rajasthan dates back to 1520s when Mughal emperors encouraged this art and established a paper industry here. It was Maharaja Jai Singh II who bought this art to Jaipur and set up a paper business in Sanganer on the outskirts of the city. Today, the name of Sanganer has become synonym of the handmade paper. The collection includes a variety of products. These acid free handmade papers can be put to multiple usages. It is an odyssey and saga of 600 years old handmade paper making. Jaipur Handmade Paper Industries is well known for its unique quality & Produces paper in Modern Contemporary design as well as Traditional Designs which include flower papers, Printed papers, Banana paper etc.

Experience Handmade Paper making : 

1. After breakfast our explorer will meet you in the hotel and you will be driven to Sanganer area in Jaipur to one of the biggest handmade paper factories in Jaipur. 

2. On reaching factory you will be introduced to the Supervisor of the factory and his workers. 

3. Our explorer will take you for a work inside the factory and will explain step by step process of making handmade paper. 

4. Interact with the workers from nearby villages about their experience and work. 

5. Activity ends with the souvenir.
